Stress Management

Supporting Your Body and Mind Through Stress and Anxiety

Stress touches all of us at some point. It might come from:

  • Pressures at work

  • Worries about children or family members

  • The loss of someone close

  • Unexpected events outside of our control

In busy times, you may have tried self‑care techniques such as deep breathing, spending time outdoors, or talking to friends — yet still feel your mind racing or your body on high alert.  If your sleep, mood, or ability to cope is being affected, it can be helpful to explore additional support.

Stress and Anxiety Testimonial "Gail has been amazing, she's fab at what she does and has helped me in so many ways.  I've felt so much less anxious and more relaxed in general.  I've managed to come off my anxiety medication after cutting out foods that I was intolerant to and am feeling more energised.  I am feeling less inflammation and stiffness after suffering with shoulder issues and other people are also noticing these  changes." How I Work with Stress

I use a combination of two gentle, complementary approaches:

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT or Tapping)

EFT involves talking while tapping on specific points on the face and body. This can help ease the body’s stress response and allow space for calmer thinking. Many people find this helps them see challenges from a fresh perspective.

Kinesiology

Through muscle testing, kinesiology can help identify areas of the body that may be under stress, such as hormones, neurotransmitters, or other systems. Gentle techniques, along with tailored lifestyle or supplement suggestions, may support your body’s natural balance.  Stress can also impact nutrient levels. Replenishing key vitamins and minerals can be an important part of supporting mood, energy, and overall resilience.

What Clients Say

Clients often describe arriving feeling anxious, tired, or unable to switch off.

After sessions, they frequently say they feel:

  • Calmer and like a weight has been lifted

  • Clearer in their thinking

  • More confident about next steps

Each experience is individual, but these reflections offer a sense of how supportive this work can feel.
